The search accesses make it possible to search the registry in different ways.
The Overarching Catalouge makes it possible to search all resources of all domains entered in the registry. It should be noted that the filter function only works to a limited extent due to the very different requirements for the data models of the individual domains.
The domain-specific search accesses in editions, corpora and text collections and lexical resources make it possible to use the full depth of the respective data models and to work with domain-specific filter options and views.
Different operators can be used to search in the catalog:
AND – All search terms must appear in the results (default when multiple terms are used).Nature AND Science OR – Searches for any of the specified terms.Soldiers OR War NOT – Excludes a term.Religion NOT Buddhism "..." to find the exact phrase and ignore fuzzy matching. "Goethe Letter" * – Any number of characters.* → all entries in the registry.kant* → Kant, Kantian, Kant edition, etc. ? – Exactly one character.letter? → letter, letters These recommendations are generated automatically from the titles and descriptions of the resources. A multilingual language model analyzes the content and identifies which resources are thematically similar. Based on this, additional relevant resources related to the currently selected one are displayed, even if different terms are used.
