Das Lebensgeschichtliche Archiv (LGA) sammelt, erschließt und dokumentiert biografische Materialien und persönliche Unterlagen aus Geschichte und Gegenwart. Dabei nehmen narrative Interviews eine wichtige Rolle ein. Es handelt sich i.d.R. um Interviews, die im Rahmen volkskundlich-kulturanthropologischer Forschungsprojekte entstanden sind und für die Nachnutzung zur Verfügung gestellt werden können. Derzeit umfasst das LGA 362 Interviews seit dem Jahr 2002 (Stand: Dez. 2023).   Aus Gründen des Persönlichkeitsschutzes können die Interviews nur am Standort in Dresden eingesehen werden.
