Humboldts Publizistik“ enthält die Digitalausgabe von Alexander von Humboldts „Sämtlichen Schriften“ und entspricht der erweiterten Open-Access-Version der 10-bändigen Druckausgab... Das Korpus „A. v. Humboldts Publizistik“ enthält die Digitalausgabe von Alexander von Humboldts „Sämtlichen Schriften“ und entspricht der erweiterten Open-Access-Version der 10-bändigen Druckausgabe (2019 herausgegeben von Oliver Lubrich und Thomas Nehrlich). Damit wird die gesamte Publizistik Humboldts frei zugänglich gemacht, das heißt die rund 750 Aufsätze, Artikel und Essays, die zu Humboldts Lebzeiten in insgesamt 15 Sprachen an über 420 Orten weltweit in 3.600 Drucken und über 1.200 Publikationsorganen erschienen sind (von Humboldts erster Veröffentlichung 1789 bis zu seinem Tod 1859). Von allen Textzeugen stehen XML-Transkriptionen (TEI-P5) und Lesefassungen sowie umfassende bibliographische Metadaten in einer Web-Ansicht und zum Download zur Verfügung (unter der Lizenz CC BY-SA 4.0). Die Texte und Metadaten sind mit einer intelligenten Volltextsuche vollständig erfasst. Darüber hinaus bietet die Digitalausgabe umfassende Werkzeuge zur Erschließung und Erläuterung von Humboldts Schriften; eine thematische Einführung, einen Editorischen Bericht, Glossare (zu Maßen, Instrumenten und Medien, Humboldts Quellen und Publikationsorganen), Transversalkommentare zu übergreifenden Fragestellungen und Themen sowie rund 130 Übersetzungen aller nie auf Deutsch erschienen Texte. Eine Übersicht über die Digitaledition bietet die Dokumentation. Im DWDS sind die rund 1340 deutschsprachigen Texte des Korpus recherchierbar. deu
