Es handelt sich dabei... Das Korpus „Sanders Briefwechsel“ umfasst mehrere hundert Briefe von und an den Lexikografen Daniel Sanders (1819–1897). Die Dokumente stammen aus Archiven im In- und Ausland. Es handelt sich dabei vor allem Briefe von und an Wilhelm Scherer, Berthold Auerbach, Karl Gutzkow, Adolf Glaßbrenner, Emil Du Bois-Reymond, Heinrich Schliemann, Ernst Ziel und vielen weiteren bedeutenden Persönlichkeiten. Der Briefwechsel zeugt von einem intensiven Austausch mit der fachverwandten Gelehrtenwelt des 19. Jahrhunderts, der neben lexikografischem, philologischem und schriftstellerischem Inhalt vor allem politische und gesellschaftliche Themen, insbesondere die Situation der Juden in Deutschland und die Märzrevolution thematisiert. Alle Briefe wurden von Sebastian Göttel transkribiert, nach XML/TEI P5 gemäß dem DTA-Basisformat kodiert und innerhalb der DTA-Infrastruktur bereitgestellt. deu
